October 12, 2009- This week's deals

I'm always amazed at the fun I have doing this grocery game. This week I hit Walgreens and Meijer.

Walgreens:
2 large Welch's grape juices
4 cans Progresso soup
3 different Fructos Garnier styling products
1 box hair dye
1 box Kotex liners
2 cans Maxwell House coffee
3 bags peanut M&Ms
Cost= $20.00

Mejer:
First checkout: John Freda Root Awaking Shampoo & Contioner, 1 large pump of Jergens lotion.
Cost= $12.00

Second Checkout:
2 Tony's pizzas
2 cans Star Kist Tuna
2 cans Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 box frozen waffles
1 SF syrup
2 4-packs Fiber-one Yogurt
1 4-pack Activia Yogurt (only 20 cent after coupons and manager special)
1 4-pack Yoplait delites yogurt
12 pack Pepsi & Dt Mt Dew (nectar of the gods)
1 bottle stir fry sauce
6 pack Musselman's applesause
24 pack lite string cheese
2 cartons Tropicana orange juice
1 bag brown long grain rice
2 boxes Betty Crocker potatoes
Final cost=$23.00

$55 was a little less than we budgeted for groceries this week. I calculated it to be over $125 worth at regular prices (if I didn't watch the sale and print the coupons.)
